Due to high demands on the final product the total process chain from raw material acceptance to final quality control must be documented and monitored. Production orders can be planned and executed on short notice via an interface to the ERP system. Through the combination of tracking and tracing with the dosing systems recipes can be checked down to the single gram and used as consumption report at the end of each production day. This approach ensures constant coloring as the primary quality measure for the products while saving costs at the same time.

Quality-related data for internally produced and externally sourced materials is captured via a range of measuring facilities and stored following a consistent approach. Besides the captured quality data, specifications are also being documented in accordance with audit requirements. This allows the quality lab to access up to 1,500 data points, depending on test step, and identify potential problems ahead of time. On the shop floor, test data can be accessed online providing the required transparency for each component.
